There were three or four plays (and possibly more) that really made us look soft yesterday. This was one of them.

Boston hesitating while a receiver caught an easy pass right in front of him was another. Defense giving up big yards on a couple of third and longs wasn't great either.

I was texting with one of my friends who is a Bears fan during the game, and that was a recurring theme I kept mentioning...  we looked soft.  And I'm pretty sure, judging from Rhule's sideline pep talk, that he saw it and wasn't happy about it, so I'm guessing there's gonna be new point of emphasis moving forward.

We got smacked in the mouth and the Bears play like bullies.  We need to be the bullies moving forward.

That is one thing I can say for Ron Rivera. When he was the coach, we were the bullies.

For whatever else he did right or wrong, Rivera always coached the team to be super physical. Opponents left our games feeling like they've been in a fifteen round fight.

That may not be Matt Rhule's style, or if it is we may just not have the right players yet.

Yeah, there's too small of a sample size to say Brady doesn't value the TE position. We just have much better other options and Brady wasn't even the signal caller at LSU last year (where they also had much better other options).

Jimmy Graham: 6'7" @ 265 lbs and 8 years older than Thomas. Looked like Thomas was the old man yesterday.

And then I watched some of the Green Bay @ Tampa Bay game and saw Gronk and Robert Tonyan; watched the SF and Rams game last night with Kittle and Tyler Higbee. I think all of those guys scored yesterday except Tonyan.

I didn't think I'd ever see another guy who looked like prime Gronk. Kittle does. That dude plays with violence.

I remember back when the Rams and Patriots played in the Super Bowl, Dick Vermeil knew the Patriots had a habit of putting nasty hits on receivers so he coached his "Greatest Show on Turf" guys to drop to the ground if they saw a tackler coming hard at them.

This play kinda reminded me of that.
