Pretty embarrassing for a TE, but low man wins in this game more often than not.

It looks like he slipped going down which made it look even worse.  Still he needs to be pushing forward and I'm sure he will be told that this week quite a bit.

I can't describe that. Never seen a pass catcher dive sideways like that at the end of a catch and run. Just strange.

just noticed the look on Teddy's face after the tackle. lol

Even still, he definitely got that ball past the marker. I just don't think the refs could reward that with a 1st down on pure principle.

I really don't even blame them. Should have been a penalty, lack of heart.

Thomas is officially listed at 260. I don't know if that's inflated, but I don't see him playing like a guy who weighs that much.

He's always kind of reminded me more of a big receiver than a tight end.

He was 259 at the Combine. I'd say it's accurate.

I want to say he lost his footing but man, that's just ugly whatever happened. Just run forward.

Honestly, that's kind of disappointing.

Soft. 

But he misplaced his footing by being laser focused on the inside defender. When he realizes the other defender was going low and attempted to cut back in to initiate contact with the upright defender he slipped. 

Pretty poor running after the catch. Besides a fumble or just running out of bounds this was probably the worst possible outcome.
