Probably true  Saints still have an edge over us talent wise, maybe a big one.

You can say we know their system because we practice against it, but that also means they know our system.

We may have some changes in our playbook that could work well. Now that we have a HC that is willing to go all out to try and win games

We need to play a little more aggressive, on defense, the entire game, play proactive instead of reactive.

Our defense is ranked 13th in points allowed. Our offense is ranked 23rd in points scored while ranked 9th in yards gained. Our problem isn't the D which IMO is playing above their talent level. Our problem is that we aren't converting yards into points.

Valid, but so would they.

We're definitely not running the exact same playbook, but we are using similar concepts.

Red Zone woes...

Theoretically speaking, Brady's offense should still be effective within the Red Zone because he emphasizes more horizontal concepts than vertical. Vertical offenses have a tendency to break down in the Red Zone because of the space limitations, but an offense that isn't dependent on vertical space shouldn't suffer as much in theory.

In theory...

Reality doesn't always match up with theory.

I didn't say that our defense was our problem. IMO, correcting those things on defense would help our offense, as we are a team. No one statement fixes every problem, some statements addresses what it addressed.

Having a good TE could really help with that. I wish we had one of those.

that three game stretch probably decides our season in terms of playoffs, simply because I believe we will be competing for that last wildcard spot with either the Bucs, Saints or third place NFC West team

I really feel like the Bears are going to implode as the season goes along

i thought we got outcoached by matt nagy.  first game it felt like that.  first game brady looked to be in over his head a little bit.  i hope everyone has a bounce back week and the facility stays away from covid issues

I'm not really disagreeing with you,,  but the  BUT is,  having better talent on defense in the red zone helps..  Very short field and their front 4 pressure ..    I see their defensive talent just as important as the coaching on the short field.( red zone )
