Defense is two starters away from being very good.

Won’t matter unless we field a top 10 oline. But then again there is always the chance we defy decades of NFL playoff history, set records and make it with a below average oline... but not sure anyone would take those odds.

Went all defense in the last draft, this team has to build that oline if it ever wants to truly compete and it’s perfect timing.

Need to resign Moton badly, Interior Oline can be drafted in the middle rounds we will probably have to settle for another stop gap LT though.... Bahktiari is a FA lol

We need multiple LBers and CBs,  and could use a FS and DT. The coaches have this team outperforming there talent, from a purely talent perspective this defense still needs alot of work especially on the back end.

It really reflects on how well our coaching is that despite the personnel issues we've played as well as we have to start the year. The foundation is being built.

Absolutely, I can't understate how excited this coaching staff has me. The foundation is there, these guys don't have quit In them even in the face of one of the best defenses In the NFL. I just hope we dont lose brady or snow to a team like atlanta in the off-season

Middle Linebacker.

Free Safety.

If these two positions can be upgraded this offseason, this defense will rank top 10 for many years. I a not even talking superstars at FS and MLB. I am just talking average starters in the NFL. That would be a huge step up.

Hindsight is 20/20 but if we finish 7-9, 8-8 etc were going to look back on not trading for Jamal Adams as a big wasted opportunity...

Haven’t read through this whole thread, but our D gave us a chance to win until the end despite 3 turnovers and the offense couldn’t capitalize. That’s about the end of it. We only had 6 points going into the 4th quarter.  As a whole the defense definitely has holes, we need another MLB, Whitehead blows, plus another pass rush DT after KK got hurt.  He’s likely done here.  I’m not as worried about Shaq as some people seem to be. I think a true CB1 would be what puts the D over the top (after getting an average MLB).  We shouldn’t have let Bradberry walk.

Good grief...and Teddy is a scrub according to many....how can an nfl WR not catch that

Yeah, that ball hit him right in the arms man.  Really made me sad.  DJ can make some wild catches, and that was one he should’ve had for sure.  I don’t blame him for the 4th and 2 drop though, that throw sucked
