Wether a bridge guy or a franchise guy he is our guy, I can understand why some people are down on him but I personally like him. My take is that even though everybody wanted the Fins to tank last year they didn’t, they fought hard and are a better team for it, so with this team as long as they continue to keep this high morale effort demeanor, we will win a lot of games under this coach.

The line has been ignored since Gross retired and all I’m saying is that’s no different for Teddy as it was for cam. NE does have an above average oline (12) this season while the panthers are teetering on the bottom 33% (19). I’m sure they’ll stay or drop after this game.

The Pats have a top 5 ranked defense and the Panthers are again in the bottom 33%.

All considering though, Cam has the better situation.

In all seriousness at this point, I wouldn’t be building a team around either Cam if I was NE or TB. The future QB is not here yet.

TB will have bad games and we see a dozen thread on how bad he was. He did play poorly. But seems all other aspects were fixed when cam left, it just isn’t true.

This place was always at least 80% pro cam. There were cam haters that got shouted down constantly, but they were by far the minority.

Y’all need to chill out about Teddy. He didn’t have a great game, but it was far from all his fault. If Teddy plays well this team will probably be in contention for a playoff spot with the expanded format. If he doesn’t they will probably be in a position to get one of the big three. Not to go all JohnFox, but it is what it is. Enjoy the games for what they are and most likely everything will shake out at the end.

First off, no you didn't. Especially during the latter part of Cam's career here. You harbored bigots and racists and also fueled their arguments.

Second, Cam was this franchise's first #1 overall franchise QB and he delivered from day 1 breaking records, carrying this team despite everything and everyone against him. Got us to a Super Bow and had won MVP. 

Tell me WTF Teddy has done for this team to gain my trust in him and excuse his bad days. Yeah he wasn't THE problem today, but he was A problem.  

Like I said you have no logic what-so-ever.

Jeremy, seriously.  No, I'm not coming for blood or guts because it's Teddy, nor would I say this would've been a good game for Cam.  How many TDs did Teddy generate today?  None.  That's not good.  It just isn't.  He is the QB and has the ball in his hands every snap.  But, he relies on his playmakers to make plays once he gets the ball in their hands.  Yes, the Bears defense is good, but we had chances to win that game and can't afford turnovers.  Teddy missed Moore on what should've been a TD or st the very least got us in the RZ, and he forced the ball twice on each of his INTs.  So, if he can't generate TDs himself (like when presented the opportunity at the goalline in a 1v1 situation) and he can't throw guys into TDs, what he absolutely can't do is turn the ball over...  and that's what he did.

That just isn't a good game.  Personal feelings for Cam or Teddy aside, that just objectively isn't a good game.

P.S. - A lot of people made excuses for Cam bc of the load he was carrying, so when he faltered under the weight of it, that was an easy excuse to make, because it was true.  Teddy is being paid more to do less with better weapons and better coaching, and he has faltered both times he faced legit defenses.  I was excited to see what he could do this year, and if he was who they thought he was, I knew we could shock a lot of people... we still might, but he has lost us 2 games now when asked to be more than a game manager.
