TEDDY SUCKS

I don't want him to fail.  I obviously want him to succeed and win, and was dangerously close to becoming intoxicated with the Kool-Aid after the last 3 weeks, but we just saw the results, AGAIN, when he had to play a legit team.  We should've beat the Bears today, but they legit made Teddy be the one to beat them and he couldn't.

Missing CMC and Samuel, the bears front 4 got pressure all day, Fuller is no slouch, couldn’t really run the ball, special teams let us down again...

Sounds kind of like a recipe for disaster no?

Everyone wanted to see what Teddy would do in the 4th and he scored 10 points and could’ve had more. DJ had 3 drops today, with CMC and Samuel out that cant happen.

Should we get into the suspect red zone play calling too or I suppose you’re already throwing your “victory” parade

Teddy looked like the same Teddy everywhere he’s been sans New Orleans lol. If you let Igo and his band of Teddites fill your brain with delusions of grandeur regarding the guy then just fuging :crying:

Edit: Of course Igo with the Cam jab Lmfaoooo. Like the guy hasn’t been removed from everything football for 2-weeks

This this this.

I don't know why the pro-Teddy people get so offended by us saying this.  He's not a long-term franchise QB.  He's middle of the pack AT BEST.  And it's so obvious.

There is a reason this offense struggles so much in the red-zone.  He's not capable of making tight window throws that other QBs make.  He's best at reading the coverage and finding an open man, both things that are much more difficult to do when the area of the field is tighter.

Why do people get so upset about that?

Some people once they develop an opinion really struggle moving on from it. My opinion on Teddy has evolved. He's definitely better than I expected, but the physical limitations are pretty obvious. In crunch time today, he played his worst football of the season. That's not very inspiring either. Jake wasn't the world's most talented QB either but come crunch time he was usually at his best.

teddy doesn't suck.

that said, he missed some very easy opportunities to keep the team in the ballgame, especially that miss to a wide-open moore.

teddy doesn't suck but he has done absolutely nothing to show he's a franchise quarterback, and that's the measuring stick for his performances.

He’s basically the best game manager in the NFL. He can run a well-coached offense with good weapons. But ask him to put the game on his back or bring you back at the end, and it might not end well.

Anyone that thinks Teddy sucks after today must think Cam no longer belongs in this league.

So your first move is to bring cam into the conversation when you cant defend Teddy?

You poo'd on anyone who brought up cam, but its cool if you do it?

If you think Teddy was any of the biggest problems today dare I say you know absolutely nothing about football.

Don't tell on yourselves.

Sure.  As a game manager, the last thing you can do is turn the ball over.  He did it twice.  They also manned everyone up and dared him to run multiple times, and he couldn't get to the line to gain, NOT ONCE.  We had the ball twice under two minutes and he single-handedly blew both drives with horrible throws.  That is the exact antithesis of what a franchise QB does.

So, since the gloves are off, if that's your idea of a franchise QB, dare I say, you don't know football either.

Two games against legit defense this year against TB and now Chicago.  Both games Teddy single-handedly blew them.

Where are all the Teddy Bros now?  I'm pulling for the guy as our QB, but once again, his lack of mobility and then his convenient timing to become wildly inaccurate rears its ugly head once he finally has to face a legit defense.

If he is any sort of mobile or accurate today, we win.

He is a game manager.  Period.  If you are depending on him to single handedly make big plays, you will lose.

Diddy you need a time out homeboy

He is being paid 24 million a year to make those passes.  They weren't slightly inaccurate, meaningless passes in the 2nd qtr, they were passes we needed to win.  They were winning plays, and he blew it.

No, he's not getting paid 24 million a year!  Nice way to overlook all the passes he made that could have easily won this game.  At the end of the day, the Bears have a team with better depth and we were mismatched.  Teddy did what was expected.  This thread is dumb.
