Hill is the 5th highest paid player on their offense this year.

Hill has 46 yards on the ground and 38 in the air.

and he isn't Brees' backup.

They get virtually nothing from him.   That is stealing.

True, I guess I was referring more to previous seasons when he was getting paid peanuts (for NFL standards) but was used all over the field in multiple ways, across different units.  Definitely isn't anywhere close to providing value this season so far.  I guess you could argue that him running the read-option and even simply handing the ball off to the running back provides some immeasurable value as it frees up a defender by forcing the defense to account for him, but that's extremely difficult to quantify.

Because he had more experience as an actual full time starter.

If Payton actually thought Hill was a legit franchise QB I don't think for a second that Teddy would've gotten the nod. Hill is basically a poor man's The Golden Calf of Bristol. I'm just glad The Golden Calf of Bristol spurned the Saints when they initially came to him with this idea in mind.

Didn't say "is". Said "can be". Per multiple sources, Payton believes that he can make Hill into something special.

Or at least he did this past offseason, hence why they not only kept him but made him the second highest paid backup in the league (Jacoby Brissett is the highest).

Truth be told, that probably says more about Payton's ego than it does Hill's ability.

I think he probably just really values Hill's jack of all trades ability. Hill fills a lot of roles on the roster for him. I absolutely think he paid what would've been well above his market value though, but who knows?

Word was that the Saints were considering going with a more run-heavy game plan in the future because that better suited Hill's skill set.

How will it play out? Don't know.

I hope so. If Payton actually tries that he's nuts and is definitely drinking too much of his own koolaid. Hill at QB full time would be worse than the Broncos' offense during the The Golden Calf of Bristol years. A

Moore has not gotten open in the redzone. He still struggles getting off of press a lot and he hasn't created a lot of seperation in the redzone.

In between the 20s absolutely Teddy should look for D.J. more, he's a monster after the catch and when he does get some space hes a huge threat.

But inside the 10-20? He's been almost invisible. I'm almost positive if he caught that endzone td that'd be his first in the redzone.

John Ross has been more consistent in the redzone than him

Is Kyler Murray ballin now? LOLZ. So, so, good.

Na, Teddy's not. I just remember that dumb poo you said last week and said. Oh yeah, I'm definitely replying to that stupid poo about Kyler being compared to Teddy. LOL.

Nah Teddy's Balling.

In fact didn't he beat that Cardinal team Russ threw 3 picks against? I'd say he's better than Russ by your logic.
