I don't know why the pro-Teddy people get so offended by us saying this.  He's not a long-term franchise QB.  He's middle of the pack AT BEST.  And it's so obvious.  

There is a reason this offense struggles so much in the red-zone.  He's not capable of making tight window throws that other QBs make.  He's best at reading the coverage and finding an open man, both things that are much more difficult to do when the area of the field is tighter.

Why do people get so upset about that?

I am one for hyperbole at times, fueled by primal emotion lol, but your post is more of what I meant.  He doesn't suck, although the term is very relative, but yes...  the measuring stick is, "is he a franchise QB?" and the answer is no.

The Bears are superbowl contenders.  Blaming Teddy for a couple of inaccurate throws is crazy.  He made so many amazing passes today that could have gotten us a win.  This thread needs to be buried.

TB did do poorly no denying. But this team has serious problems elsewhere and I’m honestly surprised TB wasn’t shell shocked by the end of the game from an awful oline.

Difference was, Cam was literally doing it by himself.  Give Cam this line, these backs, these receivers, and this scheme and staff and Cam would be hands down the best QB in the league.

He is being paid 24 million a year to make those passes.  They weren't slightly inaccurate, meaningless passes in the 2nd qtr, they were passes we needed to win.  They were winning plays, and he blew it.

He's playing under the best coach in the game right now, and he's still not playing good.. what gives?
