Stat Correction: Teddy Most Accurate

We have more special teams points than anyone in the NFC South. So we are scoring touchdowns at a lower rate than everyone else. And we are still limiting scores against us better than most of the NFL.

That’s what smart coaching does. They adapt. If your QB can’t hit deep you focus short. If your QB struggles from 7-10 you throw shorter or further. You don’t force your QB to do things they aren’t good at. That isn’t a knock on Teddy. It’s smart coaching.

281 yards in the SB and 247 and 189 in the Division Championship and Conference Championship. Still doesn't change the fact that when his arm ability dropped off so has their ability to go deep, losing in the wild card the last two years in a row. 

What? They won a SB while only attempted 2 throws past 15 yards. I’m not sure how much more clear it needs to be for you to understand. The Saints offense really hasn’t changed much over the years. They’ve consistently won running an offense very similar to what we’re doing right now

Because in their mind it was going to be a failed experiment, and we would be in competition with the Jets on the tank train heading to Trevorville at this point in the season already.

But Teddy has been better than advertised and has done everything the coaches need of him in this offense. So since they can't critique his play, they are going to critique what they think he can't do well. And then spin it and act like his weaknesses won't allow him to be a winning Qb when all he's ever done in this league is win. Whether with the Vikings, the Saints and now the Panthers who were suppose to be bottom feeders this year.

Tom Brady was losing a Super Bowl 28-3 and dinked and dunked his way to a comeback win with running back James White as his leading receiver, what you call dink and dunk I call efficient.

I stated clearly the option of a deep pass not the reliance on it. Since it went away they have not made it past the wold card round with a loaded team.

But we do have the option of a deep pass. Teddy has shown these first 5 weeks the ability to make passes 20+ yards down field.

So what’s the problem here then?
