People can be critical of a player and still love the team. You can love your wife and still be annoyed she doesn’t use any salt when cooking. I can still enjoy her meals but it would be even better if she could just improve at that one little thing.

Our defense is in the top half of the NFL right now. Our offense is in the bottom half of the NFL.

Teddy's only problem is we dont have a red zone target to throw to.  If we had a player similar to Olsen his numbers would look even better

281 yards in the SB and 247 and 189 in the Division Championship and Conference Championship. Still doesn't change the fact that when his arm ability dropped off so has their ability to go deep, losing in the wild card the last two years in a row.

Points. Scoring. Converting yard to touchdowns. We are 21st in points per game. We are 12th in points per game allowed.

Teddy has not been checking the ball down whatsoever. The game plan is very much get the ball out to our playmakers hands and let them make plays. Kyle Allen in 2019 was unable to complete any deep passes and had to dump it off to CMac. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simply just salty at who’s QB.

Points is not a true indicator of offense, that's why yards is the official stat dealing with rankings. Some points come off of turnovers, pick sixes, fumbles, punt returns etc.

Are defensive scores calculated into offensive points per game? Is it not simply points scored by the offense divided by games played? Points IS the most important stat on both ends. Allowing yards but then making people settle for a punt or field goal is a win. So you can give up tons of yards so long as you don’t give up tons of points. Same idea on offense. As a whole, both rushing and throwing, we are very very low on the touchdown totem pole. 
 

How can yards be the be all, end all, when interference calls aren’t calculated into yards?

Yes they are, if team A averages 27 points a game, that calculates all point scored albeit defense or offense.

A better measure is to simply count how many offensive touchdowns a team has scored passing and rushing, also field goals.
