Only tool missing, QB...

i think theres a few coaching tools missing as well. i am not a delhomme supporter but we've played keep it out of delhommes hands all day. it comes down to 2nd and 8 in saints territory and you throw it deep to smith, 3rd and 8 deep to jarrett, and then hang on to the ball too long on 4th down. but why be going deep at all with over 3 minutes left on the clock, if it works you give the ball back to the saints with too much time, if it doesnt work your left with exactly whats happened. what was wrong with running and giving jake easy throws like we've been doing?

Yep.

Delhomme is still the problem even when he throws no INT. The Saint game is a perfect example. We did good running the first half, can't do that against a good team all day...now we have no where to turn. The Panthers say they stand behind Jake, yet he only throws it 15 times. Either trust your Qb and let him fail or take him out.

We can't pass it and are stuck running it, on every single play. When we look to pass we fail. Either let Jake do his thing or take him out but we limit our playbook by keeping him in, it really hurts this team...

Why did Deangelo Willaims need to carry on a 99 yard drive to tie or win the game? Because we don't trust our QB, that's why.

QB is the reason we fumbled on a run play. No other team in the NFL would be running the ball on the start of a 2 minute drive from the 2 yard line.
