— No in-person meetings, period.
— No team or player gatherings outside the facility, period.
— Two coronavirus tests per person, per day.
— PPE and/or face masks must be worn by all personnel on the field, at all times, no exceptions.
— All players must wear gloves when on the practice field, with an exception for the quarterback’s throwing hand.

1. Ow. Ow. Ow.

2. TePPE Bridgewater? I'll see myself out.

I agree, just think 3 days is a bit soon to follow precautions. I agree with testing normal, just not sure if 3 days is enough time. Who knows.

3 days is definitely enough time. The average incubation is around 4-5 days and 3 days has a high occurrence. Absolutely the smartest thing we could do. If anyone did contract the virus from the Falcons player then we should feel confident that it is being isolated and isn’t then being spread to other members of the team preventing an outbreak on the team.

Doesn't it take two weeks after exposure?

It can be between two days and two weeks for symptoms to show. Infection can begin before that time and patients are generally infectious to others BEFORE and during symptoms exhibit. It's that "infectious before symptoms" part that is making this so hard to get a hold of -- people are infecting others before they even know they are sick.

It's a mess and it's going to be one for a while.  We just have to take precautions, be prepared to adjust and just keep moving ahead day to day.

Due to the recent Tennessee Titans outbreak, the NFL has implemented new protocols this month to limit the spread of COVID-19. Those new protocols include that anyone with “high risk” close contact exposure to a COVID-19 positive individual must be isolated for at least five days, even if the person is negative and remains asymptomatic.

Davidson [the Falcon player] played 12 snaps against the Panthers on Sunday, all in the first half. Three snaps were on special teams, while the other nine were on defense. He made contact with at least six Panthers players, according to film analysis by The Observer, including right guard John Miller on five plays, left tackle Russell Okung on three plays, center Matt Paradis on two plays, left tackle Taylor Moton on two plays, left guard Chris Reed on one play and backup lineman Trent Scott on three special teams plays.

Teddy laughs at the "exception of the quarterback's throwing hand" statement. Teddy 2 gloves FTW.
