Yeah, before we shelf CMC for the rest of the year, let's see how we do against legit NFL defenses.

Not to take anything away from Davis, but...

CMC had over 200  combined yards and 4 touchdowns in the first two games.

Davis has 150 and 1 TD in the last 3, most of that coming against the Cards. 

He's a good spare tire.

Could very well be that Brady is less predictable than Rivera.

Mike Davis is getting plenty of touches too.  I don't want to see us force feed CMC either.  It's tiresome to watch quite frankly.  But the reality is, the majority of the reason we are on this win streak is not the offense.  It's the defense.

We've seen CMC come up short in those situations multiple times. He isn't a deity, if the blocking isn't there, he isn't going to be successful either. 

Not saying they should care. Just saying it happens.

And everybody gets shut down. Barry Sanders once got held to like two yards in a playoff game. Some years back we saw Ironhead Hayward get stonewalled one on one by our own Sam Mills, of all people.

You make the decisions based on your best judgment, but ultimately football is unpredictable.
