I also want to take this opportunity to give Mike Davis more props.  I was here, on reddit, whatever, saying how I didn’t like the $3M a year deal he got since we legit fed CMC all game, and it seemed unnecessary.  But man, he can fuging play and I really hope we can keep him.  I love his style.  

We've needed 2 things from a #2 back: be productive enough as a runner AND receiver that the coaches are comfortable using you for ~25% of snaps, thus giving CMC some rest, and be particularly good in the short yardage situations where CMC has his only real weakness. Davis checks both boxes perfectly. Hopefully we can lock him in for a few years at a good cap number, we'd be totally set at the position for the foreseeable future.

Meesa thinks Davis will be starting for someone else next year. The dude is good.
