Jake trying to become a liability in the run game now?

Yeah, Stewarts fumble, Williams' fumble and the Defense's poor 2nd half performance had nothing to do with today's loss. It was all on that 1 play by Jake. Yeah. I get it.

But you're wrong.

Never said the whole game was lost based on Jake's fumblitis at the goal line. Dont put words in my mouth.

Yeah Williams fumble and the Defensive secondary were the other problems as well. Im just saying Jake was STILL a part of our lose and cost us a possible touchdown BY JUST SIMPLY TRYING TO HAND THE BALL OFF! He can't even hand off the ball well! I could get our local varsity high school QB to do that for us.

That pass to Williams had too much mustard on it. He was 5 yards away and Jake just riffled it. You can try to debate that if you want. The main point here is Jake possibly cost us a touchdown because of his fumble trying to hand it off to Stewart at the goaline. Then after that, who knows if the outcome would be the same or not.

In the red zone, unless you are throwing a fade, it has to be rifled in. Williams dropped it because he was eyeing the linebacker coming at him.

Jake being the 30th ranked passer in NFL, an absolutely horrible QB, is dictating the idiot play calling. Who can blame coaches to be afraid to let Jake throw too much, especially down field. This is why we are running on 3rd and long, 3rd and Medium. When we are at Mid Field and an INT on our side isn't automatic score for other team, etc. Its pathetic that QB is such a liability that its dictating all the play calling the way it is. and who can blame the recievers on some of their faults, they've been running routes all year knowing most of time they either arent' getting ball because of Run or Jake is throwing over, short of or behind them and nearly getting them hurt. At this point in year they quit trying as hard, naturally. All of this is the end result of a horrible QB, 30th ranked QB on an otherwise good team

What I also got tired of seeing in this game is that our run game is going really well yet Jake and Smith are still bitching at our coaches on the sideline because we aren't passing it. If Jake wants to pass it more, he shouldn't be such a joke of a QB.

You guys are amazing. You must have made this thread without watching the game. You must have already figured out what you would say regardless of how the game played out. Otherwise it is ridiculous to call Jake a liability in the run game and ignore the fumbles, dropped passes and poor play by the running backs outside of the first quarter. That was the liability in the run game. Jake made great plays in the second half and could have pulled it out with some timely help from his receivers and a few flags on interference calls.

Jake wasn't allowed to win it and frankly looked like he was confident and capable today.

"The bungled handoff attempt near the goal line wasn’t Delhomme’s fault, but rather was the result of an inexperienced linemen playing fullback and not getting out of the way."

But....but....it was Delhomme. I bet it was Delhomme's idea to put the lineman at fullback! Torch his house!

Every other QB in the NFL puts the ball out there when the FB is gone past.

In this vid, Rivers turns the opposite way where the run goes and still gets the ball to his RB.

In this vid, Ryan doesn't put the ball out until the FB is gone past him. Notice how close Ryan's hands are to his body.

He almost fumbled a snap and then couldn't even hand it off to Stewart at the goal line without almost fumbling the ball. The next play, he riffles it to Williams causing the ball to go in the air. And he complains when we don't throw it haha. We don't throw it cause you suck balls Jake.

No, this is what you were saying. After all, you did start a thread asking if Delhomme was a "liability in the run game", did you not? He did not fumble the ball and the pass was a well placed catchable ball. Basically, the premise of your thread is garbage and reeks of of a blind hatred of Delhomme. Put blame where it belongs.

I have no idea what you mean by "this is what you were saying" as I hadn't back tracked. The ball hit the FB's shoulder pad cause of Jake's carelessness with the ball, which then he dropped. That's called a fumble. Also, the only way that ball would've been catchable is if Jake didn't throw it so hard to Williams FIVE YARDS AWAY. I've also already addressed our other problems if you cared to read the thread.
