I don't remember Khyber ever saying a bad word about Teddy in preseason

Do you remember him saying anything about waiting to play the games before labeling anybody? The double standard can't be more obvious. Now that the opposite of what was then conventional wisdom, has come to pass, someone want's to now usher in words of caution to fans enjoying Teddy's early success.

I personally said that we need to wait to pass judgement till we see teddy play, I'm not sure what he said.  I also dont see why it matters to you so much.

Patriots? And I don’t think this division has a clear #1 QB. You can make the argument for any of them. Matt Ryan has the worst argument. But Brady, Brees and Teddy can all have legit arguments.

You know what I meant.  Forgive me for saying the name of the team he played for since I was like 13.

Again, I didn't say the division has a CLEAR #1.  I said Teddy is "probably" the best.  I'm not standing on Olympus shouting his name as the savior.  I'm not sure if you're just not good at picking up on context through text or what.

I was right here saying be prepared that Teddy is going to be great. You?

Right there with you, arguing against stereotypical assumptions that Teddy was carried by great teams and coaches. That he's mediocre, and is just a place holder for some future stud quarterback to be named later.

The mental gymnastics some people go through to poo on their own qb is baffling. Let's find the 1 or 2 statistics out of a couple dozen where Bridgewater isn't top 10 in the NFL to prove he's mediocre. If you don't think he's the best qb in the league, fine. But he's proven to be remarkably solid, easily better than advertised and on a damn cheap salary for a starting qb who just got a new contract in 2020. How you can actively argue with the goal of bringing him down is beyond me.

You could look at Mccaffrey's stats last year and say he was 28th in success rate and 37th in average rushing yards after contact. What a frickin bum! Gus Edwards and Benny Snell were head and shoulders above him in both categories. Probably should try to trade them straight up or maybe even throw in our 1st round pick.

Yeah I don't get the hate. My friend who is a Panthers fan also said last week "he ok but I want a stud QB." I like dude he is playing like one of the QBs in the NFL right now. I don't get it

Why is someone saying "he's OK" labeled as a hater? Saying "he sucks" or "Man, I'd rather have Nathan Peterman" would be hating, not "he's OK".

A number of Teddy proponents on this board seem to see it as an all-or-nothing proposition when in reality very few people think Teddy is objectively bad and it's fine if that's someone's opinion but seeing any other opinion as derogatory is nonsense. The vast majority of 'haters' are either acknowledging that at this point there are better QBs out there and/or are waiting to see how Teddy performs over time to gush the superlatives. Absolute conclusions in either direction at this point are premature.

Optimism is riding high and it should be but let’s and agreed but let’s wait to see how the season plays out first, those other guys got some rings

Teddy has already outpaced my expectations for him.

But since I foolishly hopped on the Kyle Allen bandwagon  will let the season play out.   But I am very hopeful.

there were parts of the first 2 games when i realized why i never watched his games.  they were just so boring. but other parts of our losses were pretty good.  and the last couple have had a lot less boring and a lot more f yeah!  i think this offense really suits him.  we've been fun to watch.  that's something i didn't think was gonna happen at all this year.    plus teddy is def the best qb in the world.  i checked
