Oy...

I mean heck, I watched my first football game in 1972. That's probably long before several people on here were even born. It predates the Panthers by 23 years.

I've seen plenty of players in the league who are kids of guys I watched when I was a kid. I think there's even a few grandkids in there now.

There were no graphics on the screen when I was first watching. And the game was soooo so different than the modern version.

I don't remember my first pro game on TV, but I did get to see my first game in 73 at Veteran's Stadium. Harold Carmichael was my favorite player!

Oklahoma and Nebraska were must-watch TV!

First game I ever watched was the Raiders-Steelers championship game. Then the Immaculate Reception happened.

I asked my now late brother to explain to me what this thing on TV was.

Oy, I bet on Miami every game in '72 and made my tuition.  That was when you had to know the neighborhood bookie.

'72? Heck, I was in high school playing football in '72. Started watching football sometime around '67 or "68. Can't remember if that was before or after we got our first color TV.

I'm guessing you're older than me then.

I was 5 years old when I saw that game. Definitely didn't know what a bookie was.

A friend of mine did introduce me to parlay cards a few years later.
