I had a similar reaction to Lane Kiffin getting the Raiders job. Of course that was when Al Davis was still around and most of the truly qualified candidates were avoiding that job like the plague.

Lane Kiffin is just a weird duck.  I mean he definitely has something to him.  I mean just look at this past weekend.  He gets stuff to happen on a football field that shouldn't.

Well Raheem Morris is the new interim HC. I would assume he has a good shot at being permanent especially if they start winning. That team has talent.
If you recall, he replaced Chucky in Tampa after being the defensive backs coach. He was only 32 and was like the youngest HC at the time.

I can't figure that guy out either. He comes across as a total grifter but then again, let's be fair... a lot of college coaches do. 80% of the battle is won or lost on selling to 16-18 year old kids.

I wouldn't want him coaching my team.  But I also wouldn't look forward to playing against him.

Even if youre not ready, its very very difficult to turn down 50 million in guarantees. Plus there are only 32 HC jobs in the league, you better believe its a dream of nearly all coaches to be one(especially a young guy like brady).

Just enjoy him while we got him.

Joe Brady is already being talked about in head coaching circles. This from SportingNews:

IMO, Brady won't do this. He is way too inexperienced to be a head coach now. Give him 2 more years and then MAYBE.

We thought that Jack Del Rio would be around for a few years too.

It just depends on if Brady wants to make that leap and if a team offers him that opportunity.

Guys like Brady aren't going to wait around for a HC job.  We can give him as much money as he wants but the ultimate goal is HC for him and we've seen other young guys prove they can succeed in the past.  Enjoy him why he's here and trust Rhule and Tepper to be willing to pony up for guys like him in the future.  So glad Tepper had the guts to go out and get him.

Brady isn't going to go to a poo team like the Falcons or the Texans. Hate to bust your bubble but he's going to be here for awhile and will help us win a championship.

We also had a cheap ass owner who would never buy out Matt Rhules and Joe Brady's college contracts.
