Everyone obviously knows he hasn’t been extended and Marty gave no clear reason as to “why”...

 

...he also didn’t tip their hand by saying anything like “we are working on it”, etc...

...paraphrasing it was something along the lines of “there’s a time for that”.

They've shown they’ll extend someone mid season, who knows maybe it’s right around the corner.

I do feel bad for sports fans in Charlotte. Wfnz is absolute garbage and the local media couldn’t be worse. Some people might not think this is a big deal, but this is the reason why someone like Marty Hurney gets to stay GM for 2 decades and why Jerry Richardson and Michael Jordan never address the media. This is why Davis Tepper can botch the Cam situation so terribly and not have to address it. There is no accountability whatsoever.

bailey is buddy buddy with Hurney, so he can come on and just shoot the poo knowing that no tough questions will be asked. It really is a shame that Charlotte continues to push the same garbage out since the beginning. Mac and Bone are nothing more than glorified cheerleaders in the morning. Bailey is more concerned about being buddys with Harper, Steve Smith, & Hurney than doing his job. And well like you said in another post, parcell and Wilson are just as bad as it gets. They almost leave you wanting to relive the days of Marc James and Frank Garcia. The Charlotte observer sports section is also worthless these days. You guys do deserve better.

Concur 100%. 

The local press really are/were pretty much hand puppets for Richardson and Jordan. 
 

It’s astounding how easy they are on Jordan  

Before the just concluded NBA season Bailey actually went on the radio and predicted the Bobnets would make the playoffs!  (which was completely absurd)

I wonder if Bailey is now up to be the next radio guy to get fired by the Bobnets
