He was asked about this specifically and said they didn't have any news yet, strictly due to timing.  Players were just getting back into the facility to see the doctors and get assessed.

Overall there wasn't much to the conversation...to me the most salient comment was the explanation given for how Robby Anderson ended up with the team --- basically he was on Rhule's short-list from the get go due to his familiarity with Robby from their time together at Temple.

While Marty didn't get into the weeds on Rhule & Robby's long-term relationship this is a pretty darn interesting read here:

I posted about that in another thread that was about Hurney and I mentioned that Robby was 100% Rhule. I don’t think either wanted anything other than to be together again and I think It shows why the Panthers are playing better than their talent and experience level. It’s the opposite of what we saw the past two years going 1-15 in the second halves and in quite a few games looking like we gave up.

By the time 2022 training camp commences Tepper & Rhule & Hurney & the executive/coaching team will have 3 drafts under their belts but will have only been together for 2.5 years...

...imagine how much progress they can make given the incredible strides that have been made in only 10 months!

Kyle has his weaknesses for sure but he’s head & shoulders above rest of the WFNZ crew. 
 

Wilson is the single biggest dumbass anywhere on sports talk radio and Parcells is #1A. 
 

The medium is extraordinarily weak in Charlotte, that is for sure.
