Its a loser thing, a subset of the huddle. Most of the huddle was never about it.

Certainly a minority, but unfortunately a very vocal minority.  That kind of loser mentality was reiterated ad nauseum since a few of the most active posters have been all about it.

Just now, Mr. Scot said:

You'll see them on Draft Day.

(they'll be the ones booing)

With how they draft they should be paying fans to care anymore. And then they get an Adams to end up with more picks that they will run out of town or bust hard. Nightmare fuel for an NFL fan.

What they're gonna be saying soon...

"We need to hire Joe Brady at HC to bring us a modern offense and groom Trevor Lawrence."

And honestly they might not be wrong when they start saying it.

Brady turned a mid-late round QB into a guy who went #1 overall after arguably the best season in college football history and he's making Teddy Bridgewater look like a borderline top 10 NFL QB. The dude is the truth.

I could watch that video on a loop :)

I'm convinced Pete Rozelle knew exactly what was coming when he announced Ken O'Brien's name. He paused after saying "quarterback" just to troll the Jet fans.

Maybe, but Rozelle also did that somewhat regularly. In this case it may have been to mess with them, but it wasn’t out of the ordinary. Paul Tagliabue also liked to name the position before the player or the school, which I dislike.

Not a fan of that either, though I will admit the point in the video when the Jets fans chanting for Sapp hear "tight end" makes me laugh.

Yeah, that is completely wrong. The vast majority of the Huddle was. It was a few that wasn't a part of it, that's it. The team before the season on paper wasn't good enough to win over 5 games. Hell, most thought 3 games tops. I knew the Coaches were good, especially Rhule and Brady. I had my doubts on Snow though. Regardless, most wanted to tank for a QB. That is correct. Especially after starting 0-2 and Bridgewater looking like hot garbage during that TB game.

If the Jets have the #1 pick Trevor might decide to go back to school for another year.

Andrew Luck did it.  Frankly, if I was a potential franchise QB coming out, I would seriously consider going back to college if it came down to that or the Jets.  I mean . . . the Jets are just going to be the worst thing for your career you could possibly get.

For anyone who has ever been around NFL players, you know they are a different breed, they are GIANTS compared to the average person.  Even the “smaller “ guys are stout and can be picked out in a crowd.  But “twiggy “ Anderson is almost anorexic even in uniform.  Sometimes if you don’t meet the physical image of a football player, mgmt. may be hesitant to pay.  It took a former coach to recognize the inherent ability and cut through the noise.

What I love about the way Brady uses Anderson is that he uses him both vertically and horizontally. The Jets used him to blow the top off but the Panthers use his speed to back up corners so Anderson can work everything across the middle. The slant to Anderson looks hard to stop especially when Teddy is putting it on the numbers.
