Two games without a sack - Okung: Who would want to hit that guy?

My question with Okung is still how long he can keep it up.

No question he's good when healthy (infinitely Superior to Greg Little) but I seriously doubt he's a long-term solution.

Well, one of the best OT's in the league is still playing at almost 39 years old and still at a high level of play.

Honestly, we'd be nuts to not try and get him back.

If the alternative is Greg Little, i'm for it.

With that said, we really do need a left tackle of the future.

Well try our hand in the draft if it the opportunity comes but if we let Okung walk, it will be one of the dumbest front office moves in franchise history.

We've had massive issues chasing a LT and we finally have one. No way we should be even entertaining the idea of letting him walk.

I want to see him finish the season healthy before I'm ready to say that.

I'm willing to say that right now. The difference in our OL play is night and day when he is on the field. Having Moton and Okung instantly makes the interior of our OL better and it's visibly obvious. We don't have to help those guys like we do Little or any of these other scrubs we have been fielding there.

I sincerely hope the front office doesn't share your opinion.

What you know in Week 5 is often no longer true by Week 16.

I have nothing against Okung, but I'm just never a fan of making long-term decisions based on short-term results. And keep in mind that even in the short term, he's missed two games.

It's not his skill that worries me. It's his durability.

That was a Rhule pickup!1!1!!

Lol. I love those mental gymnastics.

"That was a Hurney guy!" "That was a Gettleman guy!" "That was a Rivera guy!" "That was a Rhule guy!" "That was a Richardson guy!"

Those responses always come out when people want to enforce their own pre-existing views.

I agree, and besides we all know it was a Jake Peetz pickup.

his run blocking has been fuging fantastic too. i loved seeing him pick up toddering mike davis early in the game and setting him down past a couple tacklers to churn out another chunk of yards.

Yea that was the play of the day IMO

Was having Norwell flashbacks - the intensity he played with until the play was over was impressive
