Okay negative nancy, I for one also think he needs to keep it up.. His play has helped us win more games than a lot of people expected the entire season already, the ole "we haven't played anybody card" in 2013 and 2015 we beat collectively six teams with winning records, also RW wasn't pacing 8,000 yards he's been on pace for about 400 or so more yards than TB you're being a drama queen.... I wish your posting was more memorable in the past becsuse I'm sure you were a Cam can do no wrong guy yet you're taking every chance you get to roast TB.

There is nothing negative in his post, simply some opinions and a statement about enjoying the wins. Being grounded, or even being less than effusively positive, does not equal being negative.

Apart from the gross exaggeration check out my posts even the ones earlier in this thread I'm not making over the top 10 year predictions, JawnyBlaze has been pooing a lot of even mildy optimistic TB posts from myself and others all week, It's not a stretch to interpret negative intentions.

Pacing is irrelevant. Russell Wilson was on pace for something like 8000 yards at one point. And completion % is the most worthless stat ever created.  I’m enjoying the wins at the moment, that’s all that matters. Doesn’t mean I can’t also think about how we need to improve if we’re going to beat better teams than the Chargers, Cardinals and Falcons.

There are no easy games in the pros...even wins against "bad" teams are by no means easy win...it's the fckn pros, and any teams advantage is marginal at best...that's why betting lines are usually tight.  Only the year that NE beat the hell out of everybody was an anomaly.  Who do you guys suppose picking up (QB) in free agency and upcoming drafts?  It's all a crap shoot...hell Brady went in the 6th round.  TB is more than good enough to win with staying power.

I do recall people on here fomenting at the mouth for Luck (who isn't even in the league now).  Very rarely will you find the generational QB and winning is more often about landing a solid coach with an eye for team talent and certain schemes to maximize that talent.

Nah the winning against these shitty teams has been fun. But this crazy talk about anointing Teddy the QB of the future scares the poo out of me. I’m glad he played well again for the second game in a row. Hope he keeps it up. But this level of “well” ain’t gonna cut it against good teams. Eventually he’s going to need to throw a good pass over 20 yards. He hasn’t done that much this year. He has gotten better with the pass placement. The first three games he was abysmal. These past two games he’s been much better. Let’s see if that continues rather than rely on performances against the Cardinals and Falcons...

Well, there was no preseason, it is a new system..etc etc..  Give it some time before the constant fckn whining and wanting to blow the whole thing up...that just got blew up...damn.  And not only losing the #1 playmaker on the team...maybe even the league.

No, after game two or three Wilson was literally on pace for like 7800 yards. I had this “on pace doesn’t mean anything” discussion with a buddy at work.  Yes I’m a Cam fan, but I was never blind to his faults and shortcomings and criticized him when warranted.  Going from a QB like Cam to Teddy is probably why I might be a little overly critical of Teddy. It’s hard dropping so far from a game changer to what we have now.

First, there was no gross exaggeration. You apparently just weren’t aware of that fact. Second, yea I’ve been negative about Teddy, the first three games he deserved every bit of the negativity. The last two games I have praised his performances because they deserved it.  I want a better QB than Teddy. I don’t want a guy that can’t throw an accurate deep pass that isn’t a duck. Teddy has strengths and they’ve helped us win a couple games, no doubt. He’s made some beautiful short passes these past couple games, but that’s just not good enough for me. I’ve been spoiled. Maybe if we had gone from Jake to Teddy I would be more open to the idea of Teddy for the long term. But after seven and a half years of greatness, I was accepting of the year and a half of poo due to injury because there was hope of return to greatness. Now the only hope is getting lucky in the draft on a guy that half or more of the league passes on.

Cam is gone as I surely miss those glory days.  Young healthy Cam's don't fall off trees and give to Rivera, he took a gamble and it paid huge dividends for him.

Totally onboard with Teddy B, just hope he doesn't get hurt and think he can take the team a long ways.

I get that, I’m not expecting to get another Cam. But getting a Herbert or Burrow or God willing a Mahommes or Jackson would improve this team immensely.
