That is incredibly disingenuous. I understand that the folks hating on Teddy are desperate to reframe themselves "pragmatists" but that would require good faith arguments on their part to begin with. For example, these individuals have to make sure to mention scheme or YAC in a way to invalidate statistics that combat their narratives like... well... you did (and those that are pie'ing the post).

Y'all take solid plays by Teddy and do everything possible to explain it away, and then crucify him on a poor play where he might have been hurried by poor protection. Can't have it both ways. If you're going to attempt to explain away every solid play Teddy makes, then you're going to have to explain away via scheme/teammates/etc like you do when he makes the uncommon mistake.

I am not nor have ever been a 'TB hater' and my stance has always been that he's a good player, just not a game-changer. I and many others have not once 'crucified Teddy' nor do I take away credit he deserves for his direct play so I suggest you re-read what I actually wrote (hint: I said he is quite competent, that today was a great performance, and called TB a solid player, as I have always done), remove your own bias that may be present, and check your own response for bad faith.
