My initial reaction is the same as you all, annoyed Burriss didn't fall on the fumble. But now that I think of it, if he scoops it up, it's basically a guaranteed td. If he whiffs, it's 3rd and 27 and a high likelihood to force a punt. So you sacrifice about 25 yards of field position for a chance at a td. Actually not unreasonable.

Edit: Whoops I guess I meant 50 yards of field position. I stand corrected. Yikes
