If only fans overconfidence could will a team to greatness.  You guys are hilarious watching from my view in the peanut gallery.

Two wins, two and now you guys are thinking of playoffs, the playoffs for goodness sakes.   I pity you if they don't have a winning season.

Being optimistic isn't a disease or something to avoid. And for most of us after the past few years, we have a pretty realistic awareness that the wheels can come off at any time. We surely saw that last year after going on an early winning streak. But instead of ridiculing it, you should be supporting those who in spite of the obvious still want to be excited and positive about their team. Fan is supposed to be short for Fanatic. We have the real world every day, it is a freaking pandemic. We really aren't deluded or ignorant.   It is a point of view and choice. And until recently more prevalent around here.

Brother have at it.  I have seen this enthusiasm before and it has always ended in disappointment. And the same cheerful prognosticators are the first to bash the team because of their own unreasonable expectations.  I just watch the games waiting for something to change with this franchise.  The results so far are promising but we have also seen this before as you freely admit.  But you don't need me to help you guys pump each other up.  You are doing just fine on your own.

Trust me I know how this whole pandemic, political chaos, and for millions uncertainty about the future drags all of us down. On top of all the high hopes and disappointments we have surely shared over the past few years. And my brain tells me this is going to all come crashing back to earth like it always does and Atlanta is going to kick our ass as they always do in Atlanta. 

But today I am going to watch the game with my heart and hope to hell we smash Atlanta and even our division record. And we will have a winning record for at least 1 week. Who knows where this train is headed or how long it is going to last before it gets derailed. I doubted 2 months ago we would even have a season. So this is great. I am going to enjoy all the highs and lows. The lows are what make the highs so high... This has been a great surprise so far. I hope it doesn't unravel today....

Jump aboard there is plenty of room these days.  Until recently it was the train to neverland.
