Well, I didn't expect that given Sutton's size.

Oh well, hopefully what he lacks in size he makes up for in vision, and being able to lead the way through the lanes he thinks Williams and Stewart will take.

Nah I doubt he will go away from gameplan. He might throw in a reverse are 2 in there for smith before the game is done for. But anything besides that. The gameplan will remain as it has been in past games. With wildcat a little more in the mix.

I just don't know why else a guy with no real experience at FB is playing when in our current offense lead blocking is so crucial.

I think it's primarily because he'll hopefully be able to use his experience as a running back to pave the appropriate lanes for Williams or Stewart.

We just didn't have many options. With Rosario injured, it doesn't leave us with many tight-ends to do the job. You could certainly have pulled an offensive lineman in there, but they might not be able to see the lanes as well as Sutton.

Aside from the size difference, this isn't all that unlike putting Stewart at fullback (which some people were hoping for).

We'll see. Hope the kid plays okay today.
