Are the Bears for real?

The Bears are living with house money right now.  Very close wins lately.  Fowles helps and they are well rounded if you ignore the offensive skill positions.

Can definitely see them going on a big losing streak

Or a big winning streak. They are playing average and sometimes bad and still winning.

Good teams find ways to win when playing bad.

They looked very exploitable against the run yesterday and struggled with their tackling. They are middle of the pack statistically in rush defense but they played the Lions, Falcons, And Giants who all haven’t run the ball much (they also played the colts who are right behind us near the middle). I think they are very much exploitable on the ground as the Bucs yesterday even pushed them around a bit with Ronald Jones. Will be interesting to see if CMC is healthy by that game (any news on this?).

However, they certainly can dial up a pass rush and their corners looked fairly physical.

Also, every game they have won has been by 4 points or less. The Lions game should very much have been a loss as Deandre Swift simply dropped a ball in the end zone at the end of the game.

Foles is being heralded as a hero for the win but he made some atrocious throws and very heavily relied on simple check downs. The Bucs really beat themselves yesterday with penalties. That game was over yesterday with a Bucs win but for an iffy roughing the passer on a Bears third (or maybe 2nd?) and 30 which gave them a first down and ultimately resulted in the deciding field goal.

^^^^This is false.

I think we match-up well with them, before the season I thought it was a win with the team going 3-13.

The only phase the Panthers match up with the Bears is that Bridgewater is a dink and dunk QB. That what the bears give up.

Bears are #1 in lowest completion percentage. #1 Pass TD percentage. #2 in pass deflections. #3 in lowest yards per attempt. #3 in allowing the lowest passer Rating. #3 in air yards attempt

These ranking include the Tampa game

easy win lol. Is there such a thing when facing a top 10 defense?

I watched them. I don't think Foles is all that. Montgomery is fair and meddling. The play calling leaves a whole lot to be desired. And, our offense's needle is moving torwards elite range. If Teddy holds it together, which I believe he can based on his progress through the first four weeks, I don't see the Bears as a big obstacle.

But, any given Sunday, I know. I just don't think that highly of the Bears based upon watching them for a couple of times this season.
