Are the Bears for real?

My gut says no. I think we beat them.

That depends on how we are able to perform offensively. Teddy has made some very poor decisions when he has seen a lot of pressure this season and Chicago has a similar pass rush to what we faced against Tampa(the game which he is responsible directly for the L).

If we have any hope of beating him, we better find a way to handle that pass rush pressure.

They looked very exploitable against the run yesterday and struggled with their tackling. They are middle of the pack statistically in rush defense but they played the Lions, Falcons, And Giants who all haven’t run the ball much (they also played the colts who are right behind us near the middle). I think they are very much exploitable on the ground as the Bucs yesterday even pushed them around a bit with Ronald Jones. Will be interesting to see if CMC is healthy by that game (any news on this?).

However, they certainly can dial up a pass rush and their corners looked fairly physical.

Also, every game they have won has been by 4 points or less. The Lions game should very much have been a loss as Deandre Swift simply dropped a ball in the end zone at the end of the game.

Foles is being heralded as a hero for the win but he made some atrocious throws and very heavily relied on simple check downs. The Bucs really beat themselves yesterday with penalties. That game was over yesterday with a Bucs win but for an iffy roughing the passer on a Bears third (or maybe 2nd?) and 30 which gave them a first down and ultimately resulted in the deciding field goal.
