Allen has a good first half then got helmet to helmet hit and was led to the locker room.  After that Washington stopped scoring for the rest of the game.

He may get killed behind that OLine that gave up 8 sacks today. Deja vu.

Sometimes coaching has something to do with that.

Hmmmm if Haskins is now back to 3rd string.... And Kyle was worth a 5th to Washington.  Float a 6th to WFT for Haskins. Yeah he's thrown off some bad vibes, but still 2.5 years to evaluate him and he's damn young. Even if he was overdrafted by Washington, I can see a guy had clearly more than a 6th in ability even if he was a project.

its becoming very clear Rivera does not prioritize the OL.  which is crazy given how important its play is to the success of a team.

Honestly I think it's just the Turner system that makes them look so bad. The time has gone where you could draft Big OL to hold for the Air Coryell. Washington if I remember last year had a pretty good line. Maybe they lost people though.

This. Minnesota had the same problem with Norv and the OL got better when he quit. Washington had a good OL in the WCO until this year when they brought in Turner. Our OL was trash under the Shula/Turner Air Coryell sh*t sandwich and now it looks pretty good in a spread/WCO. The one year our OL was actually really good was 2015 and the offense was nearly unstoppable.

It’s an offense that has long developing vertical passing. You get a dominant OL that can hold long blocks then it is awesome, but DL are getting so much better and OL are not so it’s a dumb offense to have in the modern NFL.
