Neither of us are on the team but history says I’m right. No QB gets demoted like that for just bad play

You may think it's not "bad" play, but it's not up to snuff.

Per Ron Rivera:

"This is not an indictment on Dwayne as much as an indictment on the situation and circumstances that we're in," said Rivera. "He did not have the benefit of OTAs and minicamp, he didn't have the benefit of four preseason games to work through things. And because of that, he's behind in his development in this system. And again, it's an unfortunate situation. But as we go through the first four games and look at them and break them down ... It's just one of those things that he needs more time."

History tells us that QB's play, or lack thereof, gets them benched all the time.

Rivera is not gonna come out flat out and say Haskins is lazy. You can look it up yourself scouts questioned his work ethic coming out of OSU, Doug Williams who’s the vp of football operations has also indicated Haskins is not a hard worker, his former coaching staff also indicated that.

it’s one thing to get benched it’s another to get demoted to theirs string

Redskins actually have a pretty favorable schedule coming up.  Guess Ron wanted to get Haskins out of the way before he saw what was coming up.   You know the plan was always to be one and done w/ Haskins and draft a QB.

Please don't use that racist slur.

Hmm....Rivera holding a player accountable, who woulda thunk it.

Word is he also took the ping pong tables out of the locker-room as soon as he arrived, crying shame he didn't coach like that in Charlotte.

really that offense is a mess.  they were showing receivers running to the same spot,   being 6 feet away from each other on routes...  ron scapegoated haskins and said they couldn't evaluate the other players if he was qb.  he didn't hold him accountable, he threw him under the bus.

Just wanted you to know that you're apparently right! Kudos (and a pie)! Unlike some, I admit when I missed the mark.

"Poor practice and study habits led to the benching of Dwayne Haskins, sources told Les Carpenter of the Washington Post."

I have a Redskins fan buddy that made fun of us when Kyle Allen was playing.

Karma is a bitch.

Haha....I still remember my Giants friend making fun of me for Gettleman.

Lolz.

I think Kyle still has some potential. He came crashing down hard last year but I don’t think his 10 TD an no picks were entirely a fluke either.

He made some great throws and his receivers let him down a lot.

That absolutely other worldly pass to the sideline in London last year that just went thru the recievers hands!!!!!

The genesis of the observation was unrelated to Ron's current position as the Redskins head coach.
