Gilmore tests positive

I’m not sure how accurate this is but everything I’ve read going up and hugging someone with covid and chatting for like 10 seconds is a low chance of actually getting the virus. It’s mostly sustained contact. Of course who knows anything is possible. I’m sure some players got infected during the game.

Does KC now have to quit playing too?

All of KC's tests came back negative today. It's just wait and see at this point. Minnesota, the last team to play the Titans, still has no positives.

Two things for me from this:

a) Enjoy every game we get.

b) NFL must start making plans for a postseason bubble.

That's my understanding as well. You need a certain viral load to contract the virus. The reporting I've read has cited different studies. Any where from 15 minutes to an hour of exposure to an infected person.

Again, it's just wait and see at this point on Mahommes and KC.

It is almost as if the virus has an incubation period.

Do you know if someone who tests negative during the incubation period can spread it during that period? I honestly don’t know, but if they can’t then that is much better. Still not good though.

I told my wife to not bother me at all this past Sunday/Monday because it may be the last football we see for a while. Looks like it may be true.  If more players test positive especially from Patriots KC game, the NFL is going to have a decision to make.

I understand and trust me I know how serious this virus is. I didn’t think we should even have a season this year. But even contact tracers only look for people who have been exposed more than 10 minutes to infected people. I’m just explaining everything I’ve read about it. Everyone needs to mask up regardless because you never know.

im not worried about Mahomes. I’m worried about Andy and all the older, high risk staff.

Hopefully Andy will be ok.

I hope he does not get the virus either.  I think the players should be healthy enough to fight off the virus. If an older coach that is not in the best shape like Reid then it could get life threatening.

Yeah my mother in law is 80 years old, overweight and diabetic. She tested positive for covid. Asymptomatic. The only  thing anyone could think is that she got a small viral load and her immune system was able to fight it off. We thought she was a goner for sure. Two residents across the hall got it and died. This disease is hard to predict. But viral load is the key I think. Everyone needs to wear masks and social distance when possible. We could get out of this mess so quickly if everyone was in solidarity with one another.
