Pass defense not looking too underrated...

So I was feeling pretty medicore about our pass defense until last week. Then, I felt pretty good after the Cardinals game. Today's the real test, though, because we don't have the same kind of emotion that the Cardinals game had... and we probably won't get 5 turnovers, but we may get some.

Then I tuned in to my friendly game tracker and checked the Cardinals vs the Bears.

Holy crap... What happened to the Bears defense? I'm glad Warner decided to carve up a team this week and not last!

    • Hornets actually have good young talent, but they just can't play good team ball.   Lee doesn't look like a good hire at HC so far.
    • Apparently it did no good. Getting spanked by the Wizards…again!
    • I'd be looking at mid to late round QBs every single draft simply because the potential ROI is so high. Hell, even if I have an entrenched starter and backup that wouldn't change the equation. Hit on one and I'd trade my entrenched backup to a desperate team and now I have a quality backup in a rookie contract to protect cap space and a potential asset to trade down the road or hell even develop into a starter if my starter is aging or has a career detailing injury or maybe the young guy simply proves to be better at some point. Once you get the the 4th or 5th round you're basically throwing darts at the board hoping to hit on something at that point. Most of those guys will prove to not be long for the league anyway.  I'm not saying reach on a guy just because he's a QB but if I have similarly rated prospects on the board and we're talking about a FB, a blocking TE, and a  OG with limited upside, well that's a no brainer to me. Roll the dice on the QB.
