Yep!  Not to mention that when you tank, by definition, you are pretty much devoid of talent.  And it will take a while to build the overall talent level back up to get to a competitive level.  By that time your franchise QB that you worked so hard to tank for will be just about ready to hit FA.  Brilliant strategy!!!

It doesn't mean devoid of talent.

It means developing the young talent we have.

It means not going out and signing a Good QB like Teddy

A good RB like Davis.

We could have put little and Daley out there for reps.

Played Burns brown YGM.

Grier.

Really. Where was I wrong?

I'll wait?

Redskins? Jurgensen then nothing till Theismann and Williams and nothing since.

You need to check the facts about the Redskins. Theismann was gritty and an above average QB. Doug Williams had one good year. The fuel that ran the Redskins in the 80s was their offensive line (hogs), WRs & a punishing RB. Oh yea, one of the best ever coaches in football. Without the later Theismann & Williams would have never won Super Bowls.

Let the Jets take Lawrence & see how they do with their current cast of clowns.

Who would watch that crap.

I truly believe with TL we win the Superbowl by his 5th year.

Cmc, Moore, Curtis on O

Brown, burns, gym, chinn on D

Plus whoever we add.

We would have been in good shape.

Ok.

If we were to go Major League and Teddy become Rick Vaughn then I'll be driving that train.

I only have 35 years left fellas. I need one championship. Just one.

You sure about that?

I’m gonna enjoy every win I can. Shoot. Life’s too short to be negative about positive things.

I’ll go first with just a few examples:

- You said Chargers had nothing from Fouts to Rivers. Remind me who played in Super Bowl XXIX.

- Taking CMC was not a mistake.

- Trevor Lawrence is not, regardless of how much you want him to be, a guaranteed HoF QB who’s already an all-time great.

CMC is a great great player.

But Mahomes would have been the better pick.

That's just a fact.

Here’s some more poo you’re wrong about. Let’s look at the Super Bowl-winning QBs since 1985 and where they were drafted:

1st overall: 9 times in 35 seasons

Not even 1st round: 17 times in 35 seasons

Yeah, the No. 1 overall QB has definitely been a guarantee

It doesn't work that way, and what you suggest would never fly in a NFL locker room.  Simply put, this is not a good idea, and what you suggest would never happen...no matter how much you fantasize about it.

I forgot about Natron Means and the Bolts.

But they got killed by my most hated team at the time that I probably installed a mental block.
