Cam was never a top 5 QB in the league.

You are confusing draft position with rank amongst his peers.

He was somewhere between 7 and 10 most years.

Cam’s peers literally voted him the best player in the league going into 2016...

No you are comparing draft position with best league QB..

Right now we literally have the 6th best QB in the league in passing yards but just dont like him because he is not a #1 overall pick.

I get the argument that you need a good QB to win in this league but it has been proven (time and time again in this post) that the #1 overall pick has NO correlation to SB wins..

Be realistic.

He was a great player for us.

But he wasn't the best QB in the league.

He was never better than Breese Rodgers Brady Roethlisberger Manning probably Rivers or honestly Russell Wilson.

Great player. Deserves Ring of Honor the day he retires.

I don't like him because he has a weak arm and can't force the issue if he has too.

I think he's Alex Smith and king between the 20s

Right.. YOU think.. Meanwhile he's proving himself to be a winner...

You are FAR to wrapped up in draft position dude.. the BEST thing for the franchise is that he keep playing the way he is. Then we use that top 10 pick on the o-line.

I didn’t assert any argument; only presented a fact that calls into question the baseless claim you made that Cam was never a top QB.. Your disagreement is with the over 700 NFL players that participated in that poll in 2016 and voted Cam the best player in football, not just QB. Tom Brady was number 2.

You honestly think he can outduel Patrick Mahomes?

You honestly think Teddy can win the whole thing?

Hey good question.. What pick did Mahomes get drafted at?...........so NOT #1... thanks for proving the point.

That's right. But to prove my point of controlling your own destiny.

If the Panthers had taken him like they should have looking back then KC never gets him and Andy Reid continues to be the best coach to never win a Superbowl.

In order for Andy to take him 9 other teams had to make the mistake of not taking him. Andy got lucky.

I prefer to limit the amount of variables in my life. I like to control as much of my destiny as possible.

How are you not an NFL GM by now? You obviously know more than everyone else in the business. I hear Houston has an opening.

I'd take the Panthers job for free if I only got to be in charge of players.

Someone else can deal with contracts, cap and all the  minutiae
