Why Winning Now Will Cost Us About 15 Years

I know its a joke but if brady feels like he can turn him around then send a 6th over for him

I think hes much better than a 6th. Sam has been shafted his whole career asked to make water out of wine. Robby was the best wr hes ever had which is proving to be pretty good but outside of that is laughable.

The OP is absurd.  Even if we miss out on the greatest qb in the history of the world, the reality is that roster turnover is so high in the NFL, that to say we would lose out on 15 years is ridiculous.  The reality is that the vast majority of players we had in 2015 are gone.  In 2025, most of the players on the team now will be gone.  This will be true even if (or maybe especially if) we win a superbowl.  Who knows, we may have a number one pick in 4 years, and that guy may be the greatest qb in the history of the world.

I get what op is saying. I dont think it will cost us 15 years, but there is no clear path to winning a superbowl just by beating the other average teams in the league. If your gonna win and miss out on franchise saviors you better have a answer for mahomes.... you better have a answer for russ.... and you better have a answer for lamar Jackson. If you telling me your confident teddy can out duel those guys and put the team on his back then let's win on..

Otherwise if you can't then why win these games and just be middle of the roads not fixing any of your issues.

Maybe, I dont know I am just saying I would risk hardly anything for him but he was highly rated coming out and is still on his rookie deal and if Brady wanted to look at him it wouldnt hurt.  But the chances of that are minuscule.

You may find this hard to believe but I rarely watch the Jets so I have no clue if he is good or not or if its just the crappy coaching that his holding him back.

I'm with yall as well. But some people think your not a fan if you don't agree with everything the panthers do and can't see the big picture. I keep pointing towards the hornets so people can see how the hornets with kemba were good enough to get to the playoffs but not good enough to challenge anyone there which lead to years of first round exits. Thats a terrible place to be in.

I get what you guys are saying but I also think that football is very different than most sports where there are so many players. A QB being the most important obviously.

But there is no sure thing. We had the #1 overall pick in Cam and how many winning seasons did we have with him? It takes a lot more than 1 player.
