Actually, protection wasn't bad yesterday and the Cards had been doing well before they ran into us.

I agree and smash mouth football that actually works (as opposed to running into brick walls)!!! This is type of successful offensive play calling we’ve been waiting to see.

Honestly I'll attribute that play to which ever cardinal rolled and took out 58. 58 was laser sighted on 28 with the low leverage, unblocked and probably would have caught him long enough to stop the forward momentum.

Funny thing is he came out of college with pass blocking being his strong point and he couldn’t run block.

It really does make you wonder if Little might not be better suited as a G.  I know, we'd really like him to be a T, but he does show good power and being able to prevent inside pressure is just as important as preventing outside pressure.
