the difference is kyle allen didn’t have a track record at the professional level. teddy seems like a good guy and he’s a fine game manager. he fits comfortably in that “low end starter, high end backup” range. we could do a lot worse and we could do a lot better. saying that shouldn’t be controversial and yet here we are.

Matt Ryan and Tom Brady both have better numbers than Teddy. Brees was questionable this year but he’s currently also sitting at better number than Teddy.
