It’s official. This is not a top 5 pick team.

Regardless of this game’s outcome, this team is getting more wins than we thought it would.

I can see 6-8 wins.

I see us catching a number of teams off guard first half of the season but then the league balancing things out the second half. It will take a minute for everyone to figure out these aren't the same old predictable Panthers anymore, but word will get around and I think the latter part of the season roster thinness and other teams having some tape on us will make the sledding more uphill. Still 6-8 wins by no means seems out of reach for this team at the moment.

I still would trade for him. I like him a lot. He was solid today. Just couldn’t stop the Panthers offense.

He's got talent and I certainly would be optimistic on his future but the Panthers D made him look very pedestrian outside of the one long run. I wouldn't call it a solid performance. He had 133 yards on 31 passes, averaging 5 yards per completion, 4 yards per attempt. In most textbooks, that's pretty bad. Kudos to the Panthers defense.

Wrong about what?

Dude you've been on this might be the worst team ever train. Even when we show life you come up with "meh".

Just admit the team is better than you thought. That's all.

I know you want bottomed out so we get Trevor blah blah blah. It aint gonna happen but we are better with Teddy than you think.

I Don't think you're a bad poster but this holier than thou attitude about "seeing the bigger picture" is old.

The defense is already coming together a lot quicker than I thought, but I was projecting around 6-7 wins at the beginning of the season, unfortunately. Purgatory. Bridgewater is good enough to beat some bad teams but not good enough to beat most good teams, which leaves us spinning out wheels until we luck into a good QB in the mid first round like the Chiefs or we give up a bunch of picks to move up and get one.

The one thing I have wanted to see the Panthers do for the last couple of years, is play an exciting game even though they lost.

Games that are worth watching to the end, regardless whether they win or lose.

I don't want to get too excited this early, and I'm not expecting a play-off birth this season. With a young team and new coaching staff that are all figuring it out.

But I feel a Saints revenge tour this season is within the realm of possibilities. In a years time, hopefully a state wide revenge tour : fuck the Saints, Washington, Buccs, Steelers, Cowboys and 49ers (Falcons are irrelevant at this point and will fug themselves over).

Not expecting them just yet but remember it's easier this season because the feild has been expanded and with Homefeild being less relevant, anything can happen if you get in.
