I don't know how much they are limiting things they can do or where they can go when they aren't at the facility. I wonder what the Panthers are doing??

It’s tough.  A family man? Well, are the kids in school? Kids playing sports?  Is the wife isolating?  Every player has unknown exposures.

Take someone like Cam.  Is he doing extra travel  now that he presumably isn’t near his kids playing in NE.

The KC practice squad player who role played as Cam all week also is a COVID case.

Man, that dude took his role and job description to a whole new level! I'd say that's a step too far though. Best wishes to Cam and others with this nasty bug.

Well run organizations can and have dealt with covid.

There is only so much an organization can do when there is no bubble.

I don't think it has anything to do with the team or how well it is ran.  It's a virus during a pandemic.  Anyone can get it.  Certainly there are ways to increase those chances (like you mentioned, the actions of our top leaders not wearing masks or social distancing), but again, all it takes is 1.  And we're talking about between staff and players, a lot of people.  All it takes is one person from that group.

The season is going to be impossible to get through without a pause in league play.  Doesn't matter how well these teams try to limit the spread.  They need to find a way for the NFL to have a bubble (if even possible... NFL teams have to add new players damn near every week) or else.  Hell we're seeing now that all it takes is one positive test before a game to postpone it.  What happens if later today we find out another team had a positive test?  That's another reschedule.  And what happens if 2 teams have outbreaks at once?  Now because of that 4 teams can't play during a week, not including whomever has a bye.  It's gonna have a huge trickle-down effect.

NFL needs to stop.  The only reason why they won't is $$.  They are gonna get whatever money they can get to the last dime before they absolutely have no choice but to stop.  Because lets be honest.  We all knew this was gonna happen.  NFL knew it.  Their plan is garbage.  NBA would have never made it through the entire postseason without a bubble.  NHL did a playoff bubble.  MLB did a playoff bubble.  NFL has to smarten up.

No doubt.  I agree.

i still think some teams will handle it better than others because structure and leadership will vary team to team.  And some orgs will have players that refuse to be as responsible as others.  That’s life.

Credit Atlanta on that I guess.  Think they had one case pop up last week.  Heard nothing else.

At his age and physical condition he'll almost certainly experience either no symptoms or mild symptoms. I hope he can clear it quickly and get back out there and I hope he doesn't spread it to anyone else.

There was a super healthy 19-year-old basketball player that died this past week. I know that people are considering him an outlier, but being healthy is not being bulletproof against Covid-19.
