Jordan did the same thing. Not saying that’s acceptable but they are not playing a game of tag. It’s a sport where you can get demolished every single play by the best athletes on the planet who are solid muscle. You have to have that mentality to survive, especially during the years Smitty played

Gross played a lot of RT for us. IMO, he was actually better at RT than he was at LT. He was a very good LT but he might have been a HOF RT.

there is nothing suggesting this helped anyone on jordan's team.  jordan just happened to be great enough to win anyway. my favorite is jordan telling teammates not to pass to cartwright during practice, and after practice cartwright explaining to him that if he ever did that again he wouldn't be able to play basketball after that.  guess what jordan didn't do - he didn't do that again.  he was a bully who picked on small guys when he could get away with it.   jordan was a total douche.  all reports are he's never changed, is still a total douche, and that's why charlotte still sucks and nobody wants to play there.
