The Cardinals are a truly miserable franchise.

There might not be a more miserable NFL franchise with a worst history of awfulness than the Cardinals. Established in 1920, the Cardinals didn't make a playoff appearance until 1947, when they were still the Chicago Cardinals. This doesn't take into account their contested championship in 1925, in which they lost a game to the Pottsville Maroons but they were disqualified for playing an unauthorized exhibition game!

The Cardinals have 10 total playoff appearances in 100 years. TEN! The Panthers by contrast have 8 playoff appearances in 25 years.

The Cardinals have 1 Superbowl appearance in 55 years. The Panthers have 2 Superbowl appearances in 25 years.

The longest playoff drought they have endured was 27 years from 1948 to 1975. They went 16 years between playoff appearances from 1982 to 1998. And another 10 year drought between 1998 and 2008 (their lone Superbowl appearance)

The Panthers longest playoff drought was 7 years between 1996 to 2003.

The Cardinals have not beaten the Panthers since 2013, a 22-6 win for the Cardinals, that spurred an 8 game winning streak for the Panthers.

Overall, the Panthers are 12-5 against the Cardinals including 3 playoff games, in which the Panthers are 2-1 against the Cardinals in the playoffs.

We get down on the Panthers performance over their first 25 years of existence, but man, the Cardinals are a truly miserable franchise. Maybe the most miserable to ever exist in sports history.

Given the state of our franchise the past few years, I'm not really in the mood to talk poo about another team. They look better setup for the present and near future and that's really all that matters. You can't change the past and ringless franchises can't really hang their hats on the past anyway.

All true statements.

The Lions are right up there with them.  They have won 1 playoff game from 1958 until now.  That's 62 years with 1 playoff win  And the winningest coach is Wayne Fontes.  Wayne fugging Fontes.  His career record is 66-67.

Maybe by total wins it’s Wayne Fontes but Jim Caldwell had a 36-28 record in 4 seasons with the Lions. Man I never thought it would be a mistake to fire Jim Caldwell

Bidwill is the typical rich kid who was born in third base and believes his entire life he hit a triple. Wants players to “stick to sports” unless they go on conservative radio to support his friend Brett Kavanaugh like he did.

NC State Alumni Steve Keim and current GM has more DWIs than he does playoff wins.
