Baldy praising Teddy Bridgewater

I love Baldy’s analyses, he just loves football and you can tell.  That crappy screen and all.  I also love Robby Anderson, that dude has some spunk.  I also love Teddy for his ability to know what he’s looking at.  I’m in a good mood.

It illustrates why Qbs make the reads that they make. Instead of generic lines like "why isn't he throwing it deep". By casual fans who have no idea what play is being ran.

It reminds me of Rhule's comment the other day when asked about some players. He replied that there are some (PFF) issuing grades when they don't know what's asked of the player on any given play.

This is somewhat of a fallacy. The argument isn't why won't teddy bomb it 8 times a game. it's that when he does have the open deep read why doesn't he take it? and when he does take shots down field, it's obvious he is limited going deep. Teddy obviously excels in decision making

Many have said things like "We know what Teddy is. Why would he change now?"

Yet.....

Now that Bridgewater is in Carolina, it's a different story. A year after completing just five deep passes in his first six outings, Bridgewater has already matched that mark through three contests with his new team. Bridgewater's 209 deep-passing yards have already exceeded his 188-yard output from 2019, and his 145.8 rating proves going deep is worth the risk for the Panthers.

If the OL holds up or improves expect more synergy with Anderson.

That's been addressed in the other two threads on the topic.
