NFL’s Top 10 Deep Passers

Teddy has always been risk adverse.  Just his DNA.  An Alex Smith.  You might can force then out of it for a play or something but it is what it is.   Teddy can throw deep.  That 5 yard crossing route is open though and he doesn't need that deep vertical.

The counter to that is a Jake Delhomme. type.   Reverse applies.  You can ask Jake to check down and take what the D gives.  But eventually he was gonna see 89 in double coverage and be like....fug it I don't care the RB is open in the flat.  Ain't no body got time for that.   QB DNA.

What numbers am I disagreeing with? Also, next time you quote me, use the whole quote. I said I mostly just trust numbers.

You’re right, my bad.

”I mostly just trust numbers”...

I say mostly because they don’t always fit my narrative

Or because you can’t always go by numbers. What number did I disagree with, though?

When I see folks dumping on Teddy's team friendly contract, say that he will never lead a team to a postseason despite already doing so, question his ability to throw deep despite scheme & stats, or imply that we know who he is as if he was a 10yr vet rather than being in his third full year as a starter after a devastating injury I just assume that they are willfully ignorant at this this point.

It takes a special kind of stupid to be butthurt about a team friendly deal on a high character, high IQ QB that will be a pro's pro in bringing along any young talent that gets brought in.

Mad about Teddy because of what happened to Cam? Keep that energy for the Bears and all of the other teams that passed on him or shut the entire fug up pls. ♡

If you would just say "yet" after each statement about Teddy it would better reflect what we hope to happen and be much fairer to him given how little work he has had with his receivers. Essentially this week will be our 4th preseason game that counts.

Teddy hasnt throw deep yet.

Teddy's red zone performance has been very poor yet.

Teddy has been average and hasn't put up enough touchdowns yet.

If this holds true until the end of the year then those critics might have a good point.  But do we have to get beaten up with the same complaints in every thread for the next 13 games???

Ya boy Teddy sitting at #4 going into week 4. Ahead of notable guys including Mahomes and Newton.

So much for the “dink and dunk” theory.

How many weeks have you been waiting for this? Quite pathetic.

I’ve been both a Cam and Teddy apologist at times but if I have to choose between the two I’ll take the guy with a 75% completion for nearly 300 and 0 INT this week.

You had to go back several weeks to find to topic so obviously you’ve had it in your back pocket for what you feel like is a “gotcha moment.” Really sad.

it takes 5 seconds to google “teddy bridgewater deep site:www.carolinahuddle.com”

sorry about “ya boy” btw lol

The fact that you think he’s “my boy” off presenting facts pertaining to that point in the season is honestly not surprising from you.
