Touchdown pass to a wide open receiver to put up NDSU with 7 minutes left. Should add the Central had NDSU stopped but after a third down play that resulted in fourth down one of the DBS hit a WR after the place to give a free 15 and a new set of downs. One play later it looked like somebody lost the receiver as soon as the play started.

Ahh. ESPN had reported Lance had g otten the first down anyway on its tracker on that play.

I'm expecting Central to score once more and NDSU to get a chance to end the game with a TD drive. We'll see.

edit: welp I was wrong, looks like NDSU will get the ball back up by 4.  Time to ice it?

Would be a dope ending to the game. Yeah on that play Lance was just shy of a first. Well, about two yards but a penalty after the play away from him gave them a new set of downs. Killed them on the next play. Central just went three and out now.

T. Lance

15-30, 149 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT

15 CAR, 143 YDS, 2 TD

Should be his final numbers.

Give he started out 6/16 for 47 yards, that's not quite as bad as it looks in the 2nd half.  Still not great, and not the last game he wants to leave people with.

Didn’t watch.  But those passing numbers don’t inspire.  Largely the completion percentage

The Heels as a whole are so rusty right now. I was worried about this when UNCC up and cancelled on us. We essentially ended up with back to back bye weeks after only one game. We needed that glorified practice.

Va Tech next week will be a serious challenge
