Back on topic,

If the Titans can practice Friday and Saturday, then there won't be a disruption in schedule.

I've read the Titans can't enter their facilities earlier than Saturday from Twitter reporting. Is that not true? Will look for reference

Edit: ESPN reporting they reopen Saturday https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30001007/tennessee-titans-close-facility-multiple-players-test-positive-covid-19

How can they expect a team to play on 1 day of practice??

No positive tests for Vikings so far (great news). Steelers and Texans (Vikings/Titans week 4 opponents) have been told to continue preparing for the games as scheduled but that there is a chance that the games are postponed -- if so, could be rescheduled for Monday/Tuesday or NFL could adjust teams' bye weeks throughout the league to adjust the schedule to fit those games in later.

Seems like the league is on top of it.

Yeah that would be tough but they could just postpone that game a day or two and it should be fine.

Yeah, playing the game Monday wouldn't be a bad idea, although that's still a large benefit to Pittsburgh. At least the extra time will given Tennessee a chance.

NBA is watered down. There are some things I would do to tweak MLB and NBA. Baseball needs to shave about 50 games off its schedule and NBA needs to condense the season as well. The “code” for baseball needs to go away also.

My Padres are erasing the unwritten rules this season and it’s been great to witness.

It says day to day on returning from what I am reading. Who the hell knows.

Have you ever played baseball?

I think you legitimately have to have played to appreciate how special they are. Otherwise everything just looks routine. But trust me, a routine grounder to the short stop is not that routine to normal folk.

I don't discount their skill, but the sport it's horrifically boring to watch and to play. Most of the time is spent standing around fighting sleep.

NBA needs a hard cap, and no limits on max contracts. Teams shouldn't ever be able to have 3+ superstars on max contract, and teams with 2 superstars should have a much harder time getting depth. It's just silly to have teams like both LA teams who have done nothing to build a good team except have superstars choose their market. Miami Heat this year are a very welcome sight, but I suspect they'll come up short to LeBron/Davis super team.

Yep. The soft cap means owners willing to spend can basically buy contending rosters and the max contract gives elite players no reason not to collaborate and form super teams.

Also, the sport of basketball as a whole has to crackdown on the soccer style flopping that has become ever-present in the game thanks largely to a certain college coach in Durham.

Basketball used to be hands down my favorite sport. These days, I basically just watch UNC games and that's it. If the sport continues down it's current path I'm not even certain how much longer I'll be able to keep that up. The game is just being trashed IMO.

Couldn't they simply hold weekly practices, minus the positive testers, at another facility?

I would think the concern is not only the facility but preventing more spread from unknown cases on the team or staff. They have a problem now, it could become a huge problem.
