NBA is watered down. There are some things I would do to tweak MLB and NBA. Baseball needs to shave about 50 games off its schedule and NBA needs to condense the season as well. The “code” for baseball needs to go away also.

I don't think it's watered down, it's just ... different. Can't play hard D anymore, no one calls traveling, I can't tell you how many times guys like LeBron just glide to the hoop untouched, it's more about showing off than shutting down, etc. I mean, it is what it is. But give me The Worm, and Laimbeer going up against King James than anyone else today ... sans Iguodala!

NBA basketball definitely is not what is was in the late 80's and 90's but college basketball is still amazing to watch.

I like March Madness. I'll watch UNC/DUKE in the reg season but that's it. I won't watch any NBA unless it's the clinching game in the Finals and LeBron is about to lose lol. I used to have season tickets to the Brooklyn Nets, but it's just meh. Durant and Flat Earther will be cool to have, but still ... meh. I mean, I like Harden's beard more than his game lol.

It will be VERY bad if the Vikings have positive tests now. that would mean it probably spread during the game. if so, the season is likely over.

Fug we need like 6 games for the season not to repeat I believe. Like it would be the Titans coming up short wouldn't it.

It's a superstar driven league, so the NBA is going to try to protect these huge guys from breaking bones.  They also aren't playing behind huge pads like NFL players.  The 80s-90s in all sports were full of guys taking performance enhancing drugs, so that would allow them to play a little tougher and recover quicker.  Ultimately, I see little difference between the NBA then and now besides a higher 3 point attempt rate due mostly to Steph Curry transforming the game and teams using statistical analysis to determine it's positive value.

i'd like to see you get in front of lebron when he's driving.    and these guys are way better than players used to be.   doesn't mean the game is better, but it players are.  so many people remember the playoffs from the 'good ol' days but forget the regular season of out of shape dudes and no defense, and not a lot of trying.

More skill needed to play baseball than any other sport

I'm gonna have to say say hockey. It still blows my mind those guys have the reaction speed to redirect a tiny disk of rubber flying through the air at 100 MPH towards the goal, while standing on ice skates. And on top of everything else, you gotta know how to win a fistfight.

Never been a big hockey guy

but a couple of yrs ago I went to a canes game and sat close to the ice...i was blown away at what a fast and exciting sport It is...and yes to be on skates and move as fast as they do, while managing the puck takes a ton of skill

i can absolutely see how hockey fans are all in

I'm not even necessarily a hockey guy. Hell, I have never even been to a Caps game. But dammit am I awed by their skill.
