Not to mention the game can go on for several minutes without a stoppage. Last night there was a 6+ minute run without a whistle. Game before there was a 9+ minute stretch.

Last year during the Canes-Islanders playoff series, the Game 4 series winner, I was recognized by the Canes and was waiting behind the glass and they told me it would happen at the first under-10 minute stoppage/TV timeout of the 2nd period. That under-10 didn't happen until there was about 4-5 minutes left in the period.

There are about as many penalty violations in hockey as rules. Icing, off-sides, puck out of play, goalie equipment, goal off the mooring will result in stoppages, or when the goalie gloves or covers a puck.

Yeah I’m talking about in general. I realize players can opt out and some did but there’s a lot of pressure. And that includes coaches and staff.

Yeah I just meant they had the option to opt out. But that there’s a lot of pressure to not.

Regardless of the deadline they could at any time just step away from the sport; wouldn't get paid but these guys are theoretically in better financial shape than over 99% of the country so if they felt it was necessary for the health and safety of them and their families they could certainly make the decision step away.

NBA basketball definitely is not what is was in the late 80's and 90's but college basketball is still amazing to watch.

Did hear a radio report a couple hours ago which said all involved are without symptoms.

Everyone in the world retains the option to opt-out of basically everything, if they so choose. 

The inherent risks haven't changed.

Had great luck, still keep the 5 coaches and 3 players away form others. Someone had to make a mistake or a test didnt work. If someone with convid got on a plane coming and going.... big problem. They should be able to keep going after they finish the detailed cleaning. 

Viking said 0 have tested positive, thats almost unbelievable.  

Plus its still beyond the realm of common sense when players are coming off the field and dont put on mask while all the coaches/trainers are masked. Waiting for the NFL to put advertising on masks as well, I know theres had to been talks. A clear shield with 3 inches of space on 3 sides is the same protection as a mask/t-shirt sleeve??  I swear its like we're getting fuged with/pranked.
