Right now, hard not to be impressed with the coaching staff. They are far from perfect but I am not sure you could ask for much more from them.

Competitive every game, rookies playing and making an impact. This is going pretty well.

It's going about as good as you can reasonably hope so far.  It's a long season however and it gets harder to motivate these guys to go to battle knowing the odds that are against them.

We've been competitive in all our games so far.  My whole thing has been that there is just not enough elite talent to be any good this year.  Rhule and Co. have done an outstanding job of coaching and gameplanning though.  The contrast between Rhule ball and Rivera ball is night and day.

We still need a franchise QB though.

Behind a franchise offensive line Teddy Bridgewater would look like a franchise QB...

The Panthers are playing better than the sum of their parts and I suspect much of that is due to our coaching staff.

When was the last time Carolina fans could say that?

Roughly never?  As far as Im concerned we've never had a coach in our entire existence who is a real difference maker.  All of our coaches up until Rhule (with the exception of maybe Seifert) were cut from the exact same mold.  Conservative, defensive minded, risk averse "old school" guys.  What we have now seems to be the direct opposite of that.
