Honestly, Brees and Brady both look like shadows of their former selves. It's not surprising given their age. They've been remarkably long lasting for an NFL QB, but Father Time is undefeated.

Been seeing it for a few years now, just slowly.  Both could still do it here and there, but the consistent greatness has been a thing of the past for some time.

Brady was winning with a genius coach, and a good team around him...Brees is the same, just not quite as good a coach, but a better team top to bottom.

Can't wait.

Pretty on par with my take last night when the Bridgewater bashing was taking place. Guys like Brees, Brady, and Manning have dinked and dunked their way to successful late-career accolades.
